At present we are looking through our video on final cut and we are scrutinising our editing in order to make it as good as we possibly can.
So far we have made distinct changes to the concentration of posterising on all of our shots, after some constructive criticisms from our teacher we decided to tone down the contrasts so they looked less like a black and white Andy Warhol inspired shot to something that more closely resembled 50's tv.
This fits with the general retro theme we were going for whilst still retaining the black and white convention of the genre and how it is most commonly represented.
We are also looking if we need anything re-filming. so far we have decided that we just need to film some lip syncing shots with James Ward. The lines we need to sync are:
1. I could dance coz' my friends had gone home
2. but she was laughin' at that circlin' shark
3. He's a shifty so and so
(You'll never get to heaven if you don't say no)
4. I've got angel wings upon the top of my head
5. He's got devil horns upon the top of his head...(end of song)
6. I would have given up on her but
the thought of him and her was turnin' my gut
7. i wasn't down being down on my luck.
Particularly for number 3 (and also for a few other syncs) we want to film the same lines at different intensities and locations so that we can reuse them as they appear several times throughout the song in the bridge.
