After our very successful filming day, we have been getting on with our editing using Final Cut Pro.
We uploaded all of our footage onto the mac and spent a few lessons cutting down the footage to the best performance shots and uploading the track itself onto the timeline.
Unfortunately however we encountered a few problems and we have realised that several of our performance shots are not in time to the music! to try and solve this problem we played around with the editing tools and managed to cut down a few of the shots of James playing the guitar so that we could duplicate them and stick them back together to make the shots look realistic and fit with the beat as well.
We have planned to film the rest of the footage, primarily the narrative shots, next week (mon) as we have realised that we cant do a lot more with the shots we have now without adding in the narrative shots to get the whole piece in time with the music.
